In 2006 Charlie bought a CNG van at an auction and began using it as part of Rossmoor’s delivery fleet. Realizing what an impact economically and environmentally using natural gas would have, Charlie began converting the other delivery vehicles to natural gas. The next step towards going green came when Charlie had his own natural gas fueling station installed behind the bakery. “We are now fueling our vans with the same gas that fuels our ovens!”
In our efforts to be more environmentally conscious, Rossmoor Pastries is also developing lines of healthier pastries. We are using more natural products so as not to compromise on our product quality and taste.
